Call of Duty 4

No, I was a little worried at first because the bitch can get pretty warm and the day I got it a guy was trying to talk me out of it saying that they have overheating problems. I've left it on 10-12 hours straight multiple times with no problems, I don't even wanna think about how many hours it has on it.

The only problem I ever had with it was it froze a couple of times when I first got it due to some glitches in the firmware. I just wish the PSN had dedicated servers that way the lag wouldn't be so bad.

I'd much rather prefer my 360 and a stand-alone BluRay player.

The only reason I will touch a PS3 is when the new Gran Turismo comes out.

The main reason I got the PS3 was MGS4.



Btw, from what I read the PS3 has faster load times than most stand-alone BuleRay players. I know my dads seems slow compared to my PS3.

I loved my PS1 the POS works but I fucking hated my PS2(s), I went through about three of them before I got an XboX. IMO The XboX was a great system and I almost got a 360 but with their failure rates I didn't wanna go through the same shit I did with my PS2(s) and of coarse I wanted MGS4, lol.

Honestly, I think a lot of the failures with the 360 are because of 2 things, user error (not allowing it to get proper ventilation) and getting one of the first batches. I know with my regular Xbox, it started to eat it after a while. It got to were the games took forever to load, or they would just throw the "dirty/damaged disc" error mid game. And I got that bad boy the Christmas they came out... On the other hand, my 360 has been great, aside from the one RROD I had a long time ago. But it hasn't happened since I put it somewhere that it stays cool.

All the RROD's i've seen with my friends and people they know; pretty much follow what Dudeth said, either from not getting proper ventilation or because they got one from the first batch. Luckily I have always made it a habbit to wait for atleast the 2nd gen/release of the system after they have worked out all the bugs.

My buddy rrod 2 Xbox's in a semester. The first one just up and died becuase he left it on pretty much 24/7 for a year or so. and the second one he was able to fix by taking off the plastic shell and having a small fan blow on it. So each one was a overheating issue which when I took apart the xbox I wasn't too thrilled with the cooling solution microsoft uses. I used to build computers and one thing I always focused on was airflow and efficiency of it. The way they do it is they have 2 fans in the back set up to blow exhaust outwards, there are no fans drawling air into the box. The air just gets tunneled through an "air tunnel" to cool the cpu and gpu(I think gpu) I always like to keep more air moving in than out to create positive pressure inside the compartment which makes it 1. so there is always fresh air and 2. usually keeps a good amount of dust out. This of course has me scratching my head to how I could make this situation much better havn't figured it out. But I do have about 8 awesome fans (including a tornado variable speed) in my old computer case. I might just say fuck it and go at it.





EDIT: sorry for the long response I just switched from Vyvanse to Concerta for my ADD/ADHD and it seems to be doing pretty good for me hahaha.

While most of them did RROD due to overheating issues, my cousin's lasted 3 days he only played it about 4 hours a day after work. Ad he bought it maybe 5 months ago, then I talked him onto a PS3. So far no problems with it other tan i froze once, fucking firmware updates, lol.
