Well good, I'm gonna fire up the game and check shit out.
Btw, I did some research. The PSN can Suspend or Ban you, a suspension mean that you account geta temp ban(and you could just make another account). However if you get banned, it's basically a perma-IP-ban.

Can you activate\deactivate it in game or do you have to reboot ps3?

In game all you have to do is pause the game, click options and that activates it . You do the same to deactivate it, the only problem is you can't host a game if you have the hack(even if it's not turned on). Everybody goes into spectate mode and you have to quit the game and restart it.
